English Idioms -- using color words

Today I want to share with you an English Idioms...

After the class today, I have learnt English idioms. I think it is very important to know an idioms because when people say it but we don't know, what will happen.... I don't want to imagine.

What is an idioms?
Idioms is a common words that use to describe something indirectly for more easier understanding but for non-native speakers, this kind of thing quite a little bit confuse.

So I would like to present useful English idioms using colors here :
  1. to see red = very angry.
  2. green with envy = wanting something that someone else has.
  3. to feel blue = sad.
  4. to be tickled pink = very happy.
Let we see an example :

- Jessica was seeing red when her computer suddenly crashed.
- When George brought home his expensive car, his neighbor Bill was green with envy.
- After Susan's boyfriend left her, she felt blue and cried all the time.
- John asked Nancy to marry him. He was tickled pink when she said yes.

by the way, there is some slang word, "your call" it's not mean someone want you to make a call but its mean "up to you.."

Nice day...
Nott
